Red Sox Truck Made "Goodwill" Stop In Pawtucket, R.I.

The Red Sox equipment truck made an unusual stop on it's way down I-95: McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket, R.I. Why, you ask? How about the shabby way the team has treated loyal PawSox fans by dangling a move to an upscale waterfront stadium in downtown Providence? That move is in limbo (if not totally dead), but the wounds are still there. "Several hundred fans" turned out to ogle the 53-foot big rig during its brief 30-minute rest stop. John Henry seems to be in Apology Mode lately (see the recent cave-in to Liverpool soccer fans), but this "visit" seemed a little lame.
