Red Sox Lose Extra-Inning Battle To Orioles, 6-5

It's starting to feel like the bad old days again. After a long stretch where the Red Sox were playing solid baseball, their trip to Baltimore seems to have evoked bad karma from the past. Last night, the Orioles scored a run in the bottom of the 13th inning to beat Boston, 6-5. Ironically, it was the embattled bullpen that kept The Carmine Hose in the game—after starter Joe Kelly could not make it out of the third inning. The Red Sox got multiple-hit games from Dustin Pedroia (3), Mookie Betts (2), Xander Bogaerts (2) and Pablo Sandoval (2).
