Sox Offense Finally Outpacing Dismal 2014 Run Total

(ReplacementLevel Sox.com)
For most of 2015, the offensive output of the Red Sox was below that of the 2014 season—when they finished last and won just 71 games. Now, finally, Boston is on pace to beat last year's run total of 634. They're not blowing that mark away—but they should beat it by about 49 runs at this pace (683). This is still pretty anemic when compared to the 853 scored by the 2013 World Series Champions and even the 734 scored by The Sons Of Bobby Valentine in 2012. But, hey, at least it's progress—something we could use a lot more of this season.
