Sox Offense Sputters Again, Lose To Halos, 3-0

Someone please tell the Red Sox that the All-Star Break is over. For the second straight post-Midsummer Classic game, Boston was shut out—this time 3-0 on just two hits. Both hits (an infield single and a ground-rule double) were collected by Pablo Sandoval—so, in essence, it was Angels 3, Panda 0. Rick Porcello had another less-than awe-inspiring performance (going five innings and giving up three runs, two earned)—and ominously, gave up two more HRs. If you're keeping track of whether The Carmine Hose will be 'buyers' or 'sellers' at the trading deadline, put your money down on the latter.
