Red Sox Suffer Losing Streak "Jones"; Fall, 8-3

(AP Photo)
Adam Jones is doing a pretty good MVP impersonation so far this year. Today, he went 4-5 with a 2-run HR and a three-run double to hand the Red Sox an 8-3 defeat. Hanley Ramirez provided the only scoring offense for Boston—a three-run HR that temporarily put the Red Sox ahead 3-2. Rick Porcello continued the blight of inconsistent starting pitching—giving up all eight runs on 12 hits (including two home runs). On top of everything else, David Otiz was ejected from the game. The Red Sox will need to take the 11AM Patriots Day game contest tomorrow to avoid losing their first series of 2015.
