Xander Bogaerts. Uehara picked up the win in the 3-2 victory over the Orioles, demonstrating once again that his devastating splitter is as good as ever. Said Koji,
"I really don’t care if I get the win, but this was a game we won in which everyone contributed, and I’m happy for that. It was good that I kept the ball low and hit my spots." Tazawa pitched a scoreless eighth inning—striking out two.
