Red Sox Are #1 In ESPN Future Power Ranking

The Red Sox—who were in third place at the end of last season—have vaulted into first place in ESPN's Future Power Rankings. Boston notched a top overall score of 87.3 (out of a possible 100)—a nine-point increase from October 31, 2014. ESPN's Buster Olney, Jim Bowden and Keith Law each rated the 30 teams on four metrics: majors, minors, finance and mobility. The top six teams remained the same from last year, but relative rankings shifted.
