'General Soreness' Enters Red Sox Battlefield

General Soreness
Some think George Patton was the most feared general ever—others say William Tecumseh Sherman. But when it comes to baseball, General Soreness is—hands down—the scariest man on the field. He reared his ugly head this morning, as Shane Victorino is being held out of games due to 'general soreness'. Victorino's issues are leg-related—and not connected to the back woes he has suffered in the past. Still, the fact that your "starting right-fielder" and possible starting center-fielder are both sidelined in the first week of Spring Training is troubling. Maybe the excess pool of outfielders isn't "excess" after all.
