Today, the Greater Boston area resembles the Hollywood set of Ice Station Zebra. Although we seriously doubt that one of the stars of that film—Patrick McGoohan—would have allowed himself to be a "prisoner" of this frigid cold we're experiencing (see what we did there?). Temperatures this morning were in the minus 5 degree range—with wind chills down to around 30 below. So, it's important to remember that Opening Day is just 87 days away. On that day (April 6th), the Red Sox will be in The City Of Brotherly Love to take on their fierce rivals: the Philadelphia Phillies???? Oh well, baseball is baseball—and it can't come soon enough!
