Mike Carp has been signed to a minor-league deal by the Washington Nationals. The 28-year old Carp will get an invitation to major league Spring Training as well. In two seasons wearing
Carmine Hose, Carp hit .268, with 9 HRs and 52 RBIs in 128 total games. He was an important player off the bench during the 2013 season and should prove valuable for the Nats as well. We wish Mike the best!
