In his continuing quest to collect as many players as possible from the 2014 Red Sox roster, Cubs President
Theo Epstein is now after Stephen Drew. Having already garnered
Jon Lester and
David Ross (and briefly even
Ryan Lavarnway), Epstein is looking at Drew as a possible back-up at second base and shortstop for the Cubbies. Drew—after losing $4 million during his extended 2014 holdout—had a pathetic year between Boston and the Bronx.
