Miami Herald Report: A-Rod Came Clean to DEA

According to an explosive article by Jay Weaver in The Miami Herald, Alex Rodriguez admitted using PEDs in a conference with the federal Drug Enforcement Administration last January. Details of the conference—in which he was granted immunity from prosecution—show that Rodriguez admitted that he paid Biogenesis head Anthony Bosch "roughly $12,000 a month" for performance-enhancing drugs between late 2010 and October 2012. This included "pre-filled syringes" with hormones that the Yankee third baseman injected into his stomach. It appears that Rodriguez will now testify against Bosch along with his own cousin—Yuri Sucart—in the federal Biogenesis probe.
