The Fraudulent One Plots 2015 Return To NYY

(Chris O'Meara/Associated Press)
Just when you thought it was safe to forget about Alex Rodriguez, he pulls you back in! George King of The New York Post reports that A-Fraud is seriously planning a return to the Yankees in 2015. He's been seen working out at his eponymous stadium in Miami and in L.A. (where he bought Meryl Streep's Beverly Hills mansion). The Bronx Embalmers still owe him $61 million over the next three years—and apparently the 39-year old fully expects to grab it. How The Pinstriped Posers feel about that could be an entirely different matter. As King points out, Martin Pardo is a solid choice at third base next year and Carlos Beltran is a likely DH (given his multiple health issues). So, as the late, great Lou Gorman might have said, "Where would we play Alex Rodriguez?" Maybe he could be in charge of the team's PED Enforcement Policy. Yeah, that's the ticket!
