The three-run shot by Cespedes put The Carmine Hose ahead in the eighth inning. De La Rosa hurled seven innings—giving up just one earned run while striking out eight. Boston won the series despite hitting just .141—and collected just four hits on Sunday. Koji Uehara got his 25th save to seal the win. Boston is off Monday, then heads to Cincinnati.
