Rich Hill Let Go By LAA After Facing 4 Batters

After being traded to Anaheim by the Red Sox last Tuesday, Milton's Rich Hill faced just four batters for the Angles. Unhappy with the results, the Halos designated Hill for assignment yesterday. Appearing in both ends of a doubleheader against the White Sox, Hill loaded the bases on a single and two walks before being replaced. In Game 2, Hill walked the only batter he faced. The lefty was let go to make room for newly-acquired pitcher Joe Thatcher. Boston made the deal with Anaheim for cash considerations. Hopefully, Rich can catch on with another team soon.
