Brock Holt has surged
far ahead of
David Ortiz as our readers' choice for first-half Red Sox MVP. As the chart shows, Holt now commands the votes of fully 71% of readers—up from 42% in early voting. Ortiz, who had also garnered 42% in initial results, dropped down to 23%.
Jon Lester continues to distantly trail both with just 6% of the vote. Interestingly,
no other players on the ballot received
any votes from readers. While this now
