Manny Ramirez is already having a positive "impact" on young players in the Chicago organization. Despite the fact that Manny doesn't report to AAA Iowa (as a player/coach) until next week, Manny is apparently spreading the goodwill during his tune-up in Mesa. Said Theo,
"Probably sometime next week that he’s ready to go to Iowa, but we’re not in a rush because he’s making an impact with the young kids." Maybe he
has found religion—we're not sure
which religion, but maybe.
