The Red Sox selected two more pitchers today in the MLB Draft. Jake Cosart—whose brother Jarrod Cosart pitches for the Astros—was selected in the third round, while Bryant College hurler Kevin McAvoy was picked up in the fourth round. Cozart was only recently converted from an infielder to a pitcher—and already lights up the radar gun at 98 MPH. He is still considered "raw"—but immensely talented. McAvoy was 9-1 with a 2.62 ERA for the Smithfield, RI school in his Junior-year campaign—striking out 94.
