When your opponent goes 0 for 11 with runners in scoring position and leaves 13 men on base, you should win that game. Not these 2014 Carmine Hose! Thanks to an error (A.J. Pierzynski) and a bases-loaded walk (Junichi Tazawa), the Indians snuck out of Fenway handing Boston a 3-2 loss—blunting any momentum from the the first two wins of the homestand. Jake Peavy pitched well—exiting after six innings with a 2-1 lead. But Craig Breslow and the bullpen couldn't do the job. On the "offensive" side, Brock Holt had two more hits and David Ortiz collected an RBI double (the 422nd two-bagger of his Red Sox career).
