fired another former Red Sox executive: GM
Josh Byrnes. Byrnes was Sox Assistant GM under
Theo Epstein until October 2005, when he was hired as Arizona's GM. Look for Theo to scoop up his old buddy and re-unite him with
current Cubbie GM
Jed Hoyer. Looks like the
'Ivy League Mafia' might be re-grouping.
