Scott Kazmir? Isn't this the same guy who's been washed up more times than Harold Stassen (Editor's Note: readers under 40, please type "Stassen" into GOOGLE)? The zombie-like Kazmir has resurrected his career in Oakland this year, and showed why last night against Boston. Except for a two-run HR by The Muddy Chicken, Kazmir pretty much had his way with The Carmine Hose all night in the 4-2 loss. Jake Peavy fell behind early and went on to hurl 6 1/3 innings giving up three earned runs. So, the 'Titantic Ten' roadtrip hit an iceberg on Night One. Are there enough lifeboats to salvage the rest of the trip? We'll see.
