Sloppy Sox Stumble To 14-5 Embarrassment

The less we discuss about this, the better. The Red Sox committed five error en route to a nasty 14-5 loss to The Evil Ones at Fenway. This one was pretty much over in the first inning—when Felix Doubront indicated whether he was the "wonderful, wonderful cat" or the "really bad cat". It was the latter. All you need to know about this one is that Mike Carp was hurling knuckleballs from the mound in the ninth. On to Toronto.
