It's Official: Red Sox Tickets Are Priciest In MLB

ESPN.com
Just in time for Opening Day, Red Sox fans get a nice kick in the you-know-where. According to Team Marketing Report's Fan Cost Index, a ticket to see the 2013 World Champion Carmine Hose will set you back—on average—$52.32. That's the costliest ticket in all of Major League Baseball—just ahead of The Bronx Embalmers at $51.55. It's also $24.39 above the MLB average! And, it's a whopping $35.95 more costly than the average ticket the Padres charge ($16.37) to get into beautiful—and roomy and obstruction-free—PETCO Park. Having this dubious distinction is yet another indication of just how rich John Henry is getting on this franchise. The Red Sox, Liverpool's foreign soccer team, Roush Fenway Racing, representation of LeBron James....THE WORLD!
