Major League Baseball announced today that
Red Sox minor league pitcher Francisco Tena will receive a fifty-game suspension, after testing positive for Stanozolol, a PED that violates the very strict drug-testing program of minor league baseball. The suspension for the player will take effect at the start of the Domincan Summer League season. Tena is currently on the roster of Boston's Domincan League team.
