All things considered (the
phrase, not the NPR show), we are anti-tattoo. And, that's on
anyone, at
any time and of
any type. Having said that, the new tattoo displayed by
Jonny Gomes is so spectacularly over-the-top that we
might—we say
might—have to reconsider our position. Gomes has allowed his torso to be almost entirely covered by a
Red Sox World Series Champion tattoo that encompasses the beard motif, the
Boston Strong logo, the American flag, the
World Series trophy—all on a duck boat! We're talking
one tattoo, here. Breathtaking!
