The Red Sox will open their World Series title defense on the Inner Harbor in Baltimore on Monday afternoon, March 31st at 3 PM on ESPN2. MLB announced plans for their Opening Day weekend extravaganza and the World Series Champion Red Sox are right in the thick of it. Of course, thanks to Bud Selig's obsession with foreign venues, the regular season will start much earlier— as the Los Angeles Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks meet in Sydney, Australia on March 22nd and 23rd. Then, to compound the dumbness of this plan, the weary Dodgers and San Diego Padres will meet a week later—Sunday, March 30 on ESPN. Do you think Adrian Gonzalez will be complaining about this?
