FOXSports.com's Sam Gardner took a shot at analyzing the upcoming 109th World Series and came to the conclusion that
your Carmine Hose will emerge victorious in seven games. The Red Sox were given the edge in the following four categories:
bullpen,
lineup,
bench, and
manager. The Cardinals were seen as superior in only one category:
rotation—which Gardner sees as a
significant edge. Because of this—despite the fact that Boston is favored in four of five categories—he sees St. Louis coming back to Fenway with a 3-2 edge. Gardner thinks Boston's second look at the Cardinal starters give them the edge in Games 6 & 7 at Fenway.
