anyone else in baseball. That's right, the team that drowned in
beer and chicken during Black September 2011 and followed it up with
sneer and stinkin' in 2012 is now on top of the hardball world. So, who should get credit for this? Certainly not the naysayers (like yours truly) who slotted this team for no better than a fourth-place finish. Clearly, it's
Ben Cherington and
John Farrell. They should be the
Executive of the Year and
Manager of the Year, respectively. End of story.
