Red Sox phenom Xander Bogaerts has won USAToday's Minor League Player Of The Year Award. The exciting 20-year old Aruban had a combined .297 average with 15 home runs and 67 RBIs at AA and AAA. Impressively, he collected an .865 OPS at those stops as well. Since coming to The Show on August 20th, he's hitting .300 in just 21 plate appearances. We're sure that before the season is out, Bogaerts will contribute significantly to Boston's success in this wild year. Congratulations, Xander!
