They are 25 EverReady Bunnies these 2013 Carmine Hose. Somehow finding the energy to keep at it for 15 innings, the Red Sox pulled out a 5-4 win to vault themselves back into first place in the AL East. Stephen Drew hit a bases-loaded single to right to end the marathon contest—the team's major league-leading 10th walk-off win this season. John Lackey was set to get the win, but the M's tied the score at four in the eighth—setting up a game that stretched over two months. Dustin Pedroia homered and knocked in three. Jonny Gomes contributed a once-in-a-lifetime play—catching a liner to left and doubling up Raul Ibanez by running to step on second base himself. You can't make this destiny stuff up.
