Shane Victorino Named AL Player Of The Week

Red Sox right-fielder Shane Victorino was named the American League Player Of The Week for the week ended August 4th. Shane hit .400 for the week, with three doubles, two HRs, six RBIs and seven runs scored. He also made several great plays in the field over that span. This is the first time in his career that Victorino has won this honor.  He beat out some pretty stiff competition in Kendrys Morales, Adrian Beltre, and Mike Trout. Congratulations, Shane!
