Does A-Rod Have A Standing Offer From MLB?

Conflicting reports are surfacing today about whether Alex Rodriguez can still accept a reduced suspension of 100 or 150 games if he forgoes an appeal. A member of A-Rod's "posse" supposedly told USAToday that such an offer is still alive. However, MLB vice president Rob Manfred emailed the following response to the newspaper: "We have not offered 100 games and no offer is on the table." So, wherever the truth lies, The Fraudulent One is still allowed to affect the AL pennant race—thanks to the ridiculously protracted appeals process embedded into the CBA. With each passing day, A-Fraud is making a mockery of the MLB testing regimen and the supposed "penalties" that apply. This miscreant is winning—and so is his team.
