Well, it looks like Joe Girardi's fake outrage has worked. Major League Baseball has suspended Red Sox pitcher Ryan Dempster for five games—along with an undisclosed fine. The suspension was for intentionally throwing at and hitting Alex Rodriguez. There is no word yet on whether Dempster will appeal the suspension.
