Will U of Florida QB Play For The Sox, Or Not?

"Hamlet" Driskel?
Holy conflicted, Batman! University of Florida quarterback Jeff Driskel was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 29th round of last month's MLB Draft. He last played centerfield in high school. Media reports in Boston say he signed with the Red Sox, but whether he actually has signed depends on which of his parents you talk to. Mother Mary? "No, he hasn't done anything since he was drafted." Papa Jerry? "Heck yeah he signed." Any word from the guy himself? When former UF'er and current Sox farmhand Brian Johnson asked him if he also planned to sign with Boston, Jeff replied via TWITTER, "no sir lol." Confused yet? How'd you like to be a member of the Driskel family? We need a Tebow intervention.
