Three pitchers for Boston's Class A Salem Red Sox affiliate tossed a no-hitter last night at Frederick, Maryland. Led by starter
Henry Owens (six innings, 10 strikeouts), the 'no-no' was completed by
Matt Ott (two innings) and
Matt Price (one inning). Taken together, the triumvirate struck out 14 batters in an eventual 6-0 Salem win. It was the first ever no-hitter hurled for the Salem Red Sox franchise. You can hear the audio call of the final out of the game
