You gotta love the chutzpah of Baltimore's Chris Davis. During interviews at the All-Star Game, he has not shied away from saying he is shooting for Roger Maris' single-season HR mark (61)—not the fraudulent one (73) put up by Barry Bonds in 2001. And to put a cherry on top, he states, "And I think most fans agree with me on that." Indeed! Davis has been just as straightforward about questions raised about his amazing 37-HR performance so far this year, "I think any time you’re being asked about something, you want to be open and honest about it. I’ve got nothing to hide. I want people to know that. I want people to feel like they can get behind me."
