Red Sox Sign Brandon Snyder To Minors Deal

The Red Sox added to their infield/outfield organizational depth by signing Brandon Snyder to a minor league contract. Snyder was granted his release this week by the Texas Rangers. Snyder can play first or third and any outfield position. He is a .276 hitter in three major league seasons. Essentially, he supplants Mauro Gomez, who the Sox released to make room for Jackie Bradley, Jr.
