Bailey Supplants Hanrahan As Red Sox Closer

Hanrahan
Joel Hanrahan has told the media that Red Sox manager John Farrell informed him that he'll be setting up Andrew Bailey going forward. Thus, it appears that Bailey has the job—as Hanrahan did at the start of the season—until he falters. All things considered, this seems like the right move. Bailey has been very effective in Hanrahan's absence and took his initial demotion to set-up man in stride at the start of the year.
