After being designated for assignment by the Arizona Diamondbacks, former Red Sox prospect
Lars Anderson was picked up on waivers by the Chicago White Sox today. Earlier in the off-season Anderson was dealt by the Tribe in a three-way deal. Anderson never fulfilled his potential as a member of the Red Sox organization, and will now get a shot to make The Show with paler-colored hose. We wish him the best.
