John Farrell appeared on
WEEI's Dennis & Callahan Morning Show today and stated that his team can win the American League East. Farrell stated that he thought the Red Sox lineup had "speed, power and good right-left balance" and that the Boston bullpen could help shorten a number of games that the team can win. To Farrell's credit, he truly sounded like he believed what he was saying—and was not simply parroting the "feel good" mantra that is so prevalent in Fort Myers this year. Let's hope the skipper is right.
