Sox Have Six Prospects In's Top 100

Since 2013 is likely to be another disappointing season for fans of the Carmine Hose, all we really have to look forward to is the coming of "the next great Red Sox team". There was some light at the end of The Beer and Chicken Tunnel last night, as named six Boston prospects to their Top 100 List. Leading the Sox prospects were the three "Killer Bees": Xander Bogaerts (#20), Jackie Bradley, Jr. (#32), and Matt Barnes (#38). Also on the the list were pitchers Allen Webster (#71), and Henry Owens (#94) along with shortstop Jose Iglesias (#96). Only four other teams had as many as six prospects on the list: the Miami Marlins, the Minnesota Twins, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Texas Rangers.
