FenwayNation Poll indicate that—not surprisingly—
Babe Ruth's move to the Evil Ones was the most hurtful Red Sox defection of all. As the chart shows, just over one-third chose The Bambino (33.6%), followed (not too distantly) by
Johnny Damon (22.7%). Newly-departed
Kevin Youkilis comes in third at 18.5% of the vote.
Wade Boggs is next at 13.4% followed in last place by
