Red Sox Expressing Interest In Torii Hunter

Best Buds Re-United?
According to WEEI.com, the Red Sox are interested in signing 37-year old Torii Hunter to fill one of their two outfield holes. This would place at least two players over the age of 35 in the Red Sox everyday line-up (Hunter and Ortiz). Hunter—who is close to Ortiz from their common Twin days—has previously expressed a willingness to play in Boston. A Hunter signing would probably fit under the Disciplined Bridge Year Four rubric, but we're not sure how much it would actually contribute to a winning ballclub in 2013.
