FenwayNation Poll indicates that half of our readers (50%) are pulling for the
Baltimore Orioles to represent the American League in the 2012 World Series. This is somewhat surprising, considering it was Baltimore that put the final dagger into the 2011 Red Sox on the final day of the season. As the chart shows, the
Texas Rangers come in a fairly distant second on the list at 31.8%, followed even further behind by the
Oakland Athletics (11.4%). Kevin Youkilis'
Chicago White Sox are favored by 4.5% of
FenwayNation readers, while only 2.5% are rooting for the
Detroit Tigers to capture the AL flag. So far, no votes have been cast for either the
Tampa Bay Rays,
Los Angeles Angels Of Anaheim or the
