Ill Wind From North Blows Away Red Sox, 6-1

The Blue Jays swept into Boston in last place, having just traded away seven players for three, and smoked the Red Sox, 6-1. Aaron Laffey hurled seven shutout innings against the most potent offense in baseball, and now the Carmine Hose are a step closer to the Occupy Cellar Movement they've been a part of periodically over the course of the season.

Josh Beckett again was miserable—coughing up four runs in just the first two innings. Aces do not dig holes for their team like that.
