The Leominster, Massachusetts police officer who was implicated in an incident involving a racial slur against Carl Crawford has been fired. Leominster Mayor Dean J. Mazzarella announced today that the
Officer John A. Perrault was terminated because of a violation of a number of Police Department rules. Perrault's attorney said he would appeal the case to the Civil Service Commission.
