Sox Lose Pitcher's Gem In Ninth To M's, 1-0

For most of last night's game, Franklin Morales was battling head-to-head with King Felix. Inning by inning, the zeros mounted up. By the top of the ninth, Boston finally had a supreme chance to serve a knock-out blow, but came up short.

Next half inning, the luck ran out and the M's pushed across one run off Scott Atchison and beat the Carmine Hose, 1-0. The Red Sox squandered a chance to make up ground on every other team in the AL East, but, instead, they battled and lost in one of the best games of the year.
