Red Sox And Bobby Jenks Seeking Settlement

Bobby Jenks In the Zone
According to the Globe's Nick Cafardo, the Red Sox and Bobby Jenks are trying to reach a settlement around his two-year, $12 million contract. Jenks has been as close to a total bust as any signing in Red Sox history—having last pitched in July of 2011. He also was arrested in Fort Myers for an alleged DUI violation. Part of the settlement will surely involve the allegation that Jenks was forced to have a second back surgery due to an allegedly botched one at Massachusetts General Hospital. Gee, a medical screw-up by the Red Sox? Nah!
