David Ortiz: April's FN Player O' Month

The editors of FenwayNation have named designated hitter David Ortiz as FN Player O' Month for April. Big Papi batted .405 on the month, with 6 home runs and 20 RBIs. His on-base percentage was a stunning .457, with an OPS of 1.184. Ortiz has had his best April since 2008, and is on pace to hit 36 home runs—the most since he hit 54 in 2006. Congratulations to David, the FenwayNation April 2012 Player of the Month.

  1. Particularly nice to see him playing so well after last year. Many of us had given up on him and hoped he might retire. I don't mind saying we were wrong.
