ESPN's Buster Olney reports that
Manny Ramirez will work out for teams later this month in an effort to hook on with an MLB club. Manny has been re-instated from his drug suspension by MLB, but it will be interesting to see if anybody shows interest in the soon-to-be 40-year old slugger. Manny has career stats that would have virtually guaranteed the Hall Of Fame, but his multiple PED run-ins have killed his chances. In
19 seasons to date, Ramirez has a .312 average with 555 home runs. He won two rings with the Red Sox, in 2004 and 2007.
